• February 2001 - Established company, John Donnelly Purchasing Consultant Ltd following a twenty seven year career with P.J. Walls Ltd as Purchasing Manager, procuring materials, equipment and services for over 500 construction projects.
• 2001 - Developed training courses for Construction companies offering Purchasing Systems and Controls.
• 2002 Added new training courses - Cost Control for Site Managers, Negotiation Skills for Construction Buyers and Quantity Surveyors, Computer systems for Construction Personnel, Construction Waste Management.
• 2002 / 2003 - Appointed Project Consultant to EPA-NDP-Waterford Chamber of Commerce, Value Green Construction Scheme.
• 2004 / 2005 Appointed to CIF Roadshow to promote awareness about waste management.
• 2005 - Addressed EPA and Sunday Business Post Conferences on Construction Waste issues.
• 2006 - Addressed CIOB Kuala Lumpur, 100 Chinese and Malaysian delegates on Construction Materials Management. CIOB represent almost 42,000 construction professionals worldwide.
• Continued development of In-Company Purchasing Consultancy and Training for Irish and UK clients.
• Addressed EPA HAZRED Project to minimise & control Hazardous Waste on construction sites.
• Nationwide training courses on Purchasing & Construction Waste in Dublin, Cork, Limerick, Galway etc.
• Appointed training specialist to CIF-BICC Construction Waste Management Project - EU Funded.
